Storm Damage Repair in Casa Grande
Monsoon winds crack tile, peel shingles and push dust and rain under flashing. We come out in a set arrival window, show you photos of what we found, and tell you how long the fix will take. If the date moves, you hear it from us first.
What storm damage repair covers
Most storm damage here comes from the summer monsoon. A dust storm rolls in, then a microburst or a burst of hail. Concrete tile cracks or slides out of place. Shingles on newer homes lift and crease. Flat roofs with foam or coating get punctured or scoured. Sometimes the damage is plain from the yard. Often it isn't, and the first sign is a stain on the ceiling weeks later.
Storm damage repair means finding every spot the storm hit, keeping water out right away, and then fixing it properly. That can be a few tiles and a strip of underlayment, or it can turn into a bigger job. If the roof was already near the end of its life, we'll say so and walk you through roof replacement as an option. If it's a small, single leak not tied to a storm, our roof repair page is the better fit.
After a big storm, every roofer's phone rings at once. We'd rather give you an honest date than a fast promise we can't keep.
What's part of a storm repair
- Walking the whole roof and photographing it
- We go up on the roof instead of peeking from a ladder, and you get pictures of every damaged spot so you see exactly what we saw.
- Short-term cover
- Any opening that could let rain in gets tarped or sealed so the next storm doesn't add damage. We explain that it's temporary and what happens next.
- Fixing tile, shingle and flat roofs
- Slipped tile gets reset, cracked tile replaced and the underlayment below repaired. Creased or missing shingles are replaced. Damaged foam or coating on flat roofs is patched and recoated.
- Edges, vents and flashing
- Wind goes after the edges first. We check drip edge, pipe boots, roof vents and wall flashing, since even a small opening there lets plenty of water through.
- An itemized written estimate
- Every repair gets its own line. For an insurance claim, the photos and estimate help you show the damage to your adjuster.
- Clearing the site
- Broken tile, old nails and other debris leave with us. The yard and driveway get a sweep with a nail magnet.
Signs your roof took damage in the last storm
Tile pieces in the yard
Broken tile on the ground means there's a gap somewhere above. The underlayment under that gap is now taking the sun and rain alone.
Shingles that look creased or lifted
A shingle can fold back in a gust and lie flat again. The crease breaks the seal, and the next wind takes it off.
New ceiling stains after rain
Monsoon rain comes hard and sideways. A stain that shows up after a storm usually points to fresh damage, not an old leak.
Dents on vents, gutters or the AC unit
If hail marked the metal on your house, it hit the roof too. Check the gutters and rooftop equipment from the ground.
Granules or grit in the downspouts
A pile of shingle granules at the bottom of a downspout after a storm means the surface of the shingles took a beating.
What changes the cost of storm repairs
Every storm leaves different damage, so we set a price only after getting on the roof. Each repair has its own line on the estimate. These are the biggest factors.
How much area took damage
Replacing a few cracked tiles is quick. Damage over several slopes or the whole roof surface means more labor and materials.
Material and finding a match
Concrete tile, clay tile, shingle and foam all repair at different costs. Older tile can be tough to match, and the search can take extra time.
Damage below the surface
When water got past the tile or shingles, the underlayment or deck may be wet or soft. That's often hidden until we open it, and you see it before we replace anything.
Permit and getting to the roof
Bigger repairs can require a permit, and we handle getting it. Steep roofs, second stories and narrow side yards can add setup time.
How a storm repair job runs
- 1
You call, we set a window
We give you a two- to three-hour arrival window, not a whole day. After a big storm the wait can be longer, and we'll tell you the real date when you call.
- 2
Inspection and photos
We walk the roof, check the attic if we can, and take photos. Most visits take about an hour. If water can get in, we tarp it before we leave when the roof allows.
- 3
Written estimate and a start date
You get the estimate and a start date in writing. If you're going through insurance, we wait for your go-ahead before ordering materials.
- 4
The repair day
Most repairs finish in one day. Larger jobs or matching tile can take longer, and we tell you that before we start. If wind, heat or a late delivery pushes us back, we call you that day with the new plan.
- 5
Final check
We send photos of the finished work and walk you through what was done.

Storm damage questions we hear
How soon can you get out after a monsoon?
It depends on how many roofs the storm hit. On a quiet week it's often within a few days. After a big storm it can be longer, and we tell you the actual date when you call instead of guessing.
Should I file an insurance claim before or after you look?
Many people have us look first. Our photos help you decide whether the damage is worth a claim. We can explain how the process usually goes and meet the adjuster if you want, but the adjuster decides what's covered.
Will you just tarp it, or fix it?
Both, in order. A tarp keeps water out for now. The real repair follows once the estimate is approved and materials are in. We give you a date for each step.
Do you work outside Casa Grande?
Yes. We do storm repair in Maricopa, Coolidge, Eloy and Florence, and farther out toward Queen Creek, Gilbert and Chandler. Arrival windows to farther towns may be a little wider, and we tell you that up front.
What if the storm damage means I need a new roof?
Sometimes the repair would cost close to what new sections would, or the roof was already worn out. We'll show you the photos and lay out both choices. Our roof inspection and roof replacement pages explain more.
